Jill Davis is currently the Clinical Trials Manager of the Pharmacy Department at the Austin & Repatriation Medical Centre (A&RMC), Melbourne, Australia, one of Australia's largest teaching hospitals. Jill is a member of the A&RMC's Cancer Clinical Trials Committee and currently is responsible for pharmacy issues for over 50 oncology trials. Jill has held this post for three years and previously was Senior Oncology Pharmacist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute - Australia's only specialist cancer centre. Jill has been involved with ISOPP since the first meeting in New Zealand in 1988 and has attended (and presented at) all but one of the international symposia. Jill was on the scientific committee for the ISOPP V held in Sydney in 1997 and is on the organising committee for the ISOPP Australasian Regional Sympopsia. These are held in the year in between ISOPP International Symposia. Jill was the Chair of the ISOPP Publications Committee and remains Editor of the ISOPP Newsletter, as well as being a newly elected member of the ISOPP Secretariat. Locally, Jill is Chair of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists' of Australia (SHPA) Committee of Specialty Practice in Oncology. This committee is responsible for writing standards of practice for all aspects of oncology pharmacy in Australia. Jill is a member of the Pharmacy Group of the Clinical Oncological Society of Australia. Jill has experience teaching at both graduate and post-graduate levels in oncology pharmacy. Jill has a long and abiding interest in oncology and oncology pharmacy practice, especially in supportive care, new treatments, and investigational agents. Jill has experience working on diverse committees and will do her best to represent oncology pharmacists and to meet the goals and objectives of the Society.
