Celeste Lindley



Celeste Lindley is an Associate Professor of Pharmacotherapy and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Her primary practice site is the University of North Carolina Hospitals where she serves as a Clinical Specialist in Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Lindley has practiced in the area of hematology/oncology for over 15 years. Her research and practice interests have included supportive care issues in cancer patients, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of anticancer drugs, pharmacoeconomics and quality of life of cancer patients. She has served as Principal or Co-Principal Investigator on over 30 grants, authored in excess of 100 publications in peer-reviewed sources and given over 200 presentations related to these topics. She is recognized as a Fellow in the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists, as well as in the American College of Clinical Pharmacists. Past offices include Chair of the ASHP Section of Clinical Specialists, Vice Chair of the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties Specialty Council on Oncology Pharmacy, a member of ASCO Panel on Chemotherapy, and a member of the Hematologic and Oncologic Disease Advisory Panel for the United States Pharmacopeia.
