Barry R. Goldspiel
PharmD, FASHP is Projects Coordinator Pharmacist, Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, and Program Director for the Oncology Specialty Residency at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. He is involved in developing policies and procedures related to safe anticancer drug use, providing
pharmaceutical care to patients on National Cancer Institute clinical trials, participating on the Pain and Palliative Care Service, selecting new hospital and pharmacy information systems, and managing the construction of a new pharmacy in a new hospital.
Dr. Goldspiel is the founding editor of ISOPP's journal, the Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice.
"ISOPP should be the primary organization for establishing policies and guidelines to protect healthcare workers involved with anticancer agents and for providing pharmaceutical care to cancer patients around the world.
